Basic Training for the Young Horse or Pony

Here is George meeting one of his new friends at his new home- ready to progress in his ridden work with lovely people. Good luck, George- we will miss you!

Here is George in the stable having his feet picked out and being groomed.

(Please note- if you are unfamiliar with the horse or pony, wear a hard hat and take care moving around the front or rear of him.)

Here is a short film of him with ‘Jimmy the Jockey’ for the first time.

Here is a short film of him wearing a saddle for the first time.

He won his in-hand class on 8th June. The judge commented that he had ‘something special’ – with HOYS potential as a lead rein/first ridden pony.
