381I have passed my level 3 in Counselling Studies, and am looking forwards to starting the level 4 course in September. I am really enjoying being at college, and working with people. At first, I looked upon it as being a new venture for me, but have come to realise that I have been listening to people for years as a riding instructor, trying to understand why riders and their horses have problems, and working out the best way forwards for them.

Amadeus now working at Grand Prix

Using counselling techniques in my work as a dressage trainer helps me to understand where riders are coming from, but also having ridden all my life, I can empathise with their frustrations, lack of confidence, and elation when it all goes well.

I can offer you privacy and confidentiality at my own yard- it is quiet and no-one will be watching your lessons- except me, of course!
