The Psychology of Horsemanship Book by Claire Lilley

The Psychology of Horsemanship Book by Claire Lilley

Full of insight and real life examples from my own experience, I  look at  the relationship between horse and rider, and how it impacts on both mental and physical development. A valuable book to help riders, coaches and therapists alike, this book explores  how horse and rider can benefit from a depth of understanding with each other,  explaining how fear affects riders and horses.

My experience as a riding coach for over 40 years informs my practice as a psychotherapist, working with equine-assisted therapy and sports psychology. I hope this book unravels some of the intricacies of the human/horse bond.
